Russia kicked out of Human Rights Committee

Russia is the biggest country in the world, and one of the most powerful countries in the world. They are P-5 country. A P-5 country is a country with a lot of social, economic, and political power. Recently there has been a lot of distress in the Middle East with terrorist organizations. This has sparked one of the biggest migrations seen in human history: The Middle East Refugee Crisis. This situation has plagued individuals. But, there are some like Russia that think that a more militaristic view is needed. USA is still in the midst of really deciding on that. With the presidential election coming up who knows where USA could be going towards. Russian president Vladimir Putin authorized that actions have to be taken in the Middle East. This is why he has sent troops to the Middle East and people have been a part in crosshairs of these raids. Individuals have been killed and brutally injured. This is a horrific action that has been taken out on Russia. Due to this it has led the United Nations to force them out of the Human Rights Committee because of what they are doing in the Middle East to countless individuals.

Ideology of hypnosis.

Look into my ideas. You are falling into a deep sleep.

Hypnotized? Well the idea of hypnosis has been around for the last 60 years, when your brain and reflexes are triggered to listen to whatever a person tells you to do. There is videos online to see if you can be in hypnosis. There is a magic video I had just shown you, but this stuff is so cool to see. So the first video I will show you  is these two guys try to be hypnotized (Good Mythical Morning). Third, to test yourself this is a online hypnosis video (this is completely safe).

Do you believe in Voodoo?

Magic is something some of us have seen. Its great and not knowing is part of the fun with any trick. But, when it comes to voodoo and spirits do we really know if they exist. It could be just someone playing a prank on you, but stop and think about it. I love TED talks and I had found one about this guy named Keith Barry who preforms these tricks that are incredibly cool. This video will blow your mind.

Prosthetics - A New Era for the Industry of Medicine and Health.

Ever seen a person who has a missing limb, either a hand or a leg. Still they probably lost their limbs in an accident or they were born with it. It is just sad. But, in the 21st century a new technology of prosthetics are being bred. From arms to legs prosthetics help people to walk or do simple activities. Every person with healthy limbs has been gifted, but those who have not is just unfortunate. This is something doctors and the Industry of Health and Medicine is doing today. People who have prosthetics are now becoming models, athletes, and regular people. Even so in the olympics now they have prosthetic races and events. Also prosthetic models are becoming a hit. Actually prosthetics are really being modernized in this century. But, in the 20th century during 1954 a man named Van Phillips invented the first prosthetic foot. This was revolutionary technology. Thanks all to one man.

New Age of War

War it is that one word that can bring up events such as WWI, WWII, Cold War, American Revolution, Civil War etc. Well wars since the neanderthals have occurred with knifes and rocks. From there we have wars with more advanced weaponry such as guns and tanks. They use a special substance such as Gun Powder (mixture of sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate (saltpeter)) or a chemical bas such as Hydrogen or Carbon. This is probably the war we know this is because that all of us have heard about this the most and the question of guns is a very difficult question. Which is trying to be resolved around the world.  Some countries have others it takes longer. These guns and weaponry are used today in military forces as you know, but there is also something called a biological weapon. If you haven't read my bio you know that I am huge Arrow and The Flash fan. In Arrow if you have watched the main character, Oliver Queen helps to save his city by being a vigilant to stop a bio weapon (end of season 3). A bio weapon is something that is usually dispersed as a toxin which can create a genocide within that city. Also it can be a virus that is contagious and cannot be stopped. This is a real threat to our world. Just ask yourself why would we need brave men and women fighting in armies when they can wipeout an entire city in minutes. This is a very complicated issue one regarding ethical situations that coincide to our paths. So, think about this. Could this be our future? And what about if it already is?

A Trip to India

Just a 2 days ago I got back from a trip from North India. This trip was a photography orientated trip, and we travelled to 3 states in India. We travelled to Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan. This was an amazing trip because of the photography and the friends. We went to the Wagha border between India and Pakistan and there was a huge ceremony/celebration there. As a tourist I felt awkward because people just started randomly screaming. But, it was something that would never leave my mind. We travelled to the Mehrangarh Fort to learn about Indian history. Visited the Blue city which is actually a huge area where the houses are painted blue for environmental and religious reasons. We also did zip-lining which was amazing. Instead of just 1 or 2 lines we did 6 which was something that I felt was awesome. In Punjab we learned about Sikhism in the Golden temple where we cooked chapattis and took great pictures. In Delhi we didn't do that much other than exploring the markets. If you want really good photographs and go on this excursion it is a Rustic Pathways trip and it was really fun. This was hosted by my school. I recommend you go to India and enjoy yourself.

The future of flying robots

I was looking on a TED Talk by guy named: Vijay Kumar who had interesting words to say about flying robots. Vijay Kumar describes the ways that drones (flying robots) can deliver stuff to us and can do stuff for packaging, and the future could possibly drones. But, the issue is that drones today are used for surveillance in the Military, but if people can get a hold of this technology when it is used for simpler tasks people feel threatened. When there is camera attached to the drone it gives the question of how much are we giving up for our privacy if we buy into the idea of drones? I really encourage you guys to watch this it is pretty good TED Talk.

US Presidential Election

A lot about the news during this time period is about the 2016 US Presidential Election. As you probably know US is probably one of the most important countries in the world today, due to it's rapid growth in economy and how developed they have gotten over the years. So the President of USA is pretty important. The president can solve many issues for the country as a whole, from dealing with nuclear weapons in Iran to solving the issue of gun control in America. As you know the most famous candidate Donald Trump (Republican Candidate). Trump supports polices that mainly affect white Christians. This is not bad thing, but as the president he has to be looking over all people instead of just determining someone by their race. Trump and his radical thinking will actually put America in a threat. But hey it depends on what he is going to do in office. This the most famous candidate of the republicans. Now the democrats. Hilary Clinton (Bill Clinton's Wife) and Bernie Sanders are neck and neck for the spot of top democratic candidate. Both want to solve the issues of America and the world. Issues such as Healthcare, education, wages, and guns is something that comes up pretty often. International issues such as nuclear war, terrorists, oil, and treaties is something also being discussed both in Republican and Democratic debates. I personally want a president for change and will make America a place that I want to live in. As a US citizen you want the president who will benefit your life.

SO, I want to know your opinion on who do you think should be the next president of the USA and why. If you want more info on the prsendtial election I suggeest you take a look at the debates of the both sides or look up some news articles on CNN, BBC, NY Times, etc.

When I Feel Frustrated, I Do....

I have heard from a lot of my friends that they get frustrated or stressed out really quickly. School's now these days put a lot of pressure on teenagers to do well. So today I am just going to give you some tips on what to do when frustrated.

1. Take Breaks
A lot of people might know this, but it is scientifically proven by Stanford and Yale University that taking breaks actually helps going through a project easier. You have to set time limits. Crunching it all in just one time period is something which is never going to help you. People who do this actually take twice or thrice of what is required to complete the assignment. Taking ideal small 5-10 min breaks is really good. This is a perfect time to go outside, drink water, get a stretch, even just close your eyes for sometime. Most probably you sit at a computer for far to long which actually make you more stressed out when thinking about the project.

2. Drink PLENTY of Water
You might hear about all these fancy sports drinks which are supposed to keep you energized, but really you are harming your body. Sports drinks contain loads of sugar and even when it says no sugar added there will be chemicals in there to create a supplement for the sugar. Sugar is something, which can bring your focus down a lot. So, the best drink is just regular H20. Water is something plain and nice and it can just keep you hydrated which is key for being focused and not getting stressed. You should always have a bottle of water next to you so even if you are working you can get a quick sip and go back to your work.

3. Don't Multitask
As many people think that multitasking is a talent, which can help you do the work more faster. First of all this wrong in many cases. You should just work on that task at hand and then don't try to wander off into different subjects. This is the best way to actually get your work done faster and the work that you put in will really payoff.

4. Finally, Have a System
Basically this means is to have someway of being focused. I am a person who can get really distracted, and that hurt my grades a little bit, but then when I found ways to boost my concentration it helped me by a lot. The internet is a great place to get apps for your computer so that you can block sites/apps and have a certain time limit at that assignment. But, don't forget to take breaks. If you use these apps to you advantage and actually focus, you won't be that frustrated and you get your work in done faster. Some apps that I have explored is one called HeyFocus, this is a great app for Mac or PC. This app allows you to block any website you want from Tumblr to Yahoo and this can also block apps like Skype or Spotify. You can set specific time periods from this app to help you be focused. This app does cost money and I did buy it and this will change the way you work. The second app that I know of is called Freedom for Mac or PC. This app lets you block the internet as a whole or specific websites. This is one is a pretty good one, but I love going onto Skype sometimes and Freedom does not let you do that. Other than that Freedom is pretty good focus app for just the internet.

I would really like it if you guys find any other websites that are good with keeping your focus up. Or, if there is some strategy that you like to do that is not in this list put it in the comments and I'll take a look at them.

Thanks

The Return of School

Just two days ago my school just reopened again to start the second semester. As a Freshman (9th Grader) it can be tough to be well acquainted with high school work and stress. High school is the probably the most important time period of a person's life because that determines which college you go to and from that it decides the rest of your life. School is tough, but learning to accept is something that will benefit everyone.
So in the comments section tell me about what your thoughts are about school.

A New Beginning - Getting to Know me

Hi Everyone,

My name is Akash and I would like to thank you for coming to this blog and reading this post. I am huge Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Mariners fan because I was born and lived in Seattle until I moved to Singapore. I have a strong passion for sports so today I am going to talk about sports and why it has impacted all of our lives. Sports first inspires me because of the atmosphere of so many people in stands cheering or booing for whatever team. I have seen people get inspired of sports because of their ancestry and how they got introduced to it or some thing that people are talking a lot and you want to pick up on that. This is just something I wanted to share with you.
